We are a leading biological sample storage and logistics management company headquartered in the Northwest of the UK. The two Founder Directors managed the Astra Zeneca Cell-Bank facility (Alderley Park) before establishing Cryoniss Ltd. We pride ourselves on providing customers assurance that customer samples used in pre-clinical and clinical research are maintained at the highest integrity and security, working to the principles of GxP.

Our world-class facilities allow us to provide tailored end-to-end cold chain management solutions for biological samples maintained at temperatures ranging from ambient, +4 °C, -20 °C, -80 °C and vapour phase liquid nitrogen (-196 °C). Biological samples are stored and charged on a monthly per sample basis and typically samples are stored anywhere between 5 to 15 years, providing a recurring and potentially growing guaranteed future revenue stream and income.

Cryoniss was built by scientists, for scientists. We understand both time and financial pressures and the impact of sample integrity on the quality of research. That’s why our mission is to work with our clients to ensure the quality of samples, as well as removing as much non-value-added time from our customers’ workflows as possible.

Having recently secured private equity funding, to support continued growth, the company is now looking for experienced sales and commercial Regional Sales Directors to build and lead the company’s expansion into defined life-sciences and pharmaceutical mid-tier target markets. One will manage North and South UK respectively. We have recently recruited an Executive Chairman, a proven life-sciences sector entrepreneur and is a senior executive. We have also recently recruited both a Senior part-time Finance Director and Senior part-time Commercial Director.

Who we are looking for

Essential skills and experience:

• The ideal candidate will be experienced and comfortable managing prospects and warm leads through to concrete sales opportunities, creating compelling proposals, negotiating deal terms, and closing.

• A proven sales “Hunter” professional with a rigorous and structured sales approach and willing to embrace the central CRM system.

• Applicants will be knowledgeable, energetic and self-driven individuals with a natural ability and enjoyment of building relationships with science health professionals and academics.

• You will have a demonstrable track record of excellence and achievement in the areas of business building, new business acquisition and account management, and want to work in a collaborative environment with other like-minded professionals.

• This unique opportunity will likely suit individuals (possibly with MBA’s or equivalent) with an understanding of the Life-sciences supply chain and also who have perhaps reached a stage in their career where they are ready to embrace a part-time role (min 12 days per month commitment), free of corporate bureaucracy and achieve a work-life balance commensurate with experience and personal ambition.

Desirable skills and experience:

• Ideally with blue chip training, combined with experience in an entrepreneurial start-up environment.

• Creative, driven and self-motivated typically a minimum 10-15 years commercial experience including senior sales position.

• A track record and little black book full of contacts within the life science community.
